Cooking at the table

Have you cooked on a stone grill at you table? We have a new product, an Electric Stone Grill! This grill needs only to be plugged in. You can grill meats, poultry, sausage, seafood and vegetables while at the table socializing with your friends. It s oil free cooking that brings out the natural flavor of food. It is a heavy granite stone which is non-toxic and non-porous and has temperature control which ensures that your food is cooked evenly and thoroughly. The package includes: 8 enamel coated raclette pans and 8 wooden spatulas. The stone is a breeze to clean. Raclete cooking is new to my world. Sounds like fun!

Don's Work

The Jewelry is Goggit in a Box. This is painting is Fly on a Fly. This one is The Lawyers Mouth. We've been scanning Don's portfolio. He has work that spans much of our married life. We are posting a few samples. The first is Diwai Terror, using our wonderful firewood from New Guinea. (We had a wood burning stove.) His jewelry is also unusually interesting and thought provoking. His work often is intellectually stimulating and amusing as well. Look for the humor in it. Isn't that one of the joys of life?

Puzzles in life

When I got to the school library this morning to help with the electronic inventory, I discovered that we needed to update the hand-held unit, but had no idea how to do it. Thank goodness for a knowledgeable help desk person with the patience to walk me through it. Thank you Doug! Puzzle solved. Now just figure out the rest and the not so small matter of scanning the multitude of books on the shelves and chase down the stray books with my friend, Jan. Rain has been falling intermittently for several days. The farmer's crops are growing dramatically. (I drive through Illinois farmland regularly.) Our tomato plants are growing like weeds and have at least a dozen small fruits already forming on the lower parts.
